Asher Mountain is a family owned and operated business. Our founder, Brad, began his training during the summers of middle school and high school. He worked with his father and grandfather in the surveying of property lines. During those summers, he learned of his family's involvement in the layout of state roads and county lines. Brad's passion for building quality homes also began during those summers.
Brad continued his education with his two year study of architectural drafting. He and his wife both studied business at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. Brad has completed the courses for Graduate Master Builder, and received certification for Certified Green Professional (CGP) and Certified Aging-In Place Specialist (CAPS) with the National Association of Home Builders. We realize that continued education of the latest design and construction techniques impacts the quality of our customer's homes and renovations. Asher Mountain is committed to learning and ensuring that we are involved with continuing education in our fields of design, building and remodeling.
In June 1999, we began the task of just building walls. We then started cutting stairs and rafters on custom homes. The next step was training others to complete the same tasks. Eventually, we had over 20 men and one lady working for us.
We then began taking over entire projects when defunct contractors walked away. We started with an upset customer that we were able to satisfy. We completed their project within the adjusted budget and they received a well built home.
We ventured into small commercial projects such as churches, day cares, and three story hotels; completed a build out on a strip mall for a conference center, as well as, a modern design of 10,000 square feet of office space.
We have built in multiple states and locations including Texas, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Florida, and Alabama. We have worked on projects in Kenya, Europe, and Belize to help with their efforts to further their growth in modern building. We donate time to help with natural disasters. At Asher Mountain, we are committed to customer service and satisfaction.
